If Anyone's Looking For Me.......
This was this morning's share basket. I got the conventionally grown this week because I think the organic shares are quite light in the winter. Can you believe you get all this for $15?????
I got seven bell peppers so I'm going to make my friend Helene's stuffed bell peppers for dinner.
For those of you who have emailed for an update on Don since the horrible go kart accident on Christmas Day, he's hanging in there. He had surgery 10 days ago and they put 14 screws and two metal plates in .
I'm thinking he'll be getting the pat down by security at the airport now.
He's got a long road ahead of him to recovery, but if anyone can do it, it will be Don. He is such a trooper. Laura has been holding it all together. We are planning on kidnapping her in April and taking her on a vacation to recuperate from the recuperation.
My Aunt Pammy and Uncle Frankie set sail on their first ever cruise yesterday. I can't remember exactly where she was going, but it appears my Uncle Frankie is enjoying it immensely.
Maybe she'll wake him up when it's time to get off the ship. I laughed so hard when she texted me this photo yesterday.
If anyone's looking for me, my friend Leslie got me sucked into the Forsyte Saga on Netflix and I am hooked. Yes, the miniseries is ten years old. No, I've never seen it. I've been busy the last ten years.

Great deal for $15.00!! I hope Don has a speedy recovery. I will keep him in my prayers. Thanks for the update. I deleted my other post because I can't spell today lol.
Oh bully! Another British miniseries for me to get sucked into!
Have you watched Downton Abby? FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!!!
Pam, I am hooked on Downton Abbey. "Downton Abbey's on...Mom expects complete silence!!"
Michele, you do remember the comments Zsuzsana got over her "tiny" produce share a week or two ago, right? I predict you're next.
'Cause, you know... you surely don't have other food in your cupboards or in any way add to your produce share, right?
I'm going to have to add that to my list. I'm starting Downton Abby tonight. I hear it's really good!
I have been instructed to view that one next. OHMYGOSH, do these kids need fed today at all?
Oh good Lord, Downton Abbey is a Masterpiece Theatre production? Are we like 110 years old?
Not me. I'm just a 32 year old with impeccable taste. Now excuse me while I catch up on This American Life.
Thanks again soooo much for sharing the baskets with us!! We got our second one this morning. Hubby got super excited over this one when he saw the blueberries and asparagus :). I love the variety!
Masterpiece Theater rules! Are you kidding?!!
If you enjoyed Downton Abbey, try Cranford with Dame Judi Dench. Also not to be missed is the BBC mini series of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth.
What did Don fracture exactly? From the surgery scars it looks like tibial plateau and shaft of tibia. If it is the tibial plateau he needs to get the knee flexing quickly so that it heals without affecting his knee movement. If he can weight bear on it he must as it helps to stimulate bone growth. His quads muscle looks very wasted which is to be expected so he must work on lifting his leg with the knee straight, or straightening his knee which is placed in a flexed position over a rolled up pillow.
Hopefully some useful free advice from a physiotherapist reader, or what you would call a physical therapist.
Leslie- Greg watched three episodes of Downton Abbey with me tonight. He then proclaimed he wanted to stab himself in his eyes and retired to bed.
I will relay the advice to Laura and find out what sort of therapy he's doing. We need him walking ASAP!
That's hilarious, Michele! Can you imagine if Greg had lived at Downton Abbey with the Crawleys? I just took a moment and tried to imagine him as one of the Crawleys, and then as one of the servants. He would have been entertaining, I'm sure.
Did you like it? Well, you watched three episodes in one day, so you must have....
one grapefruit? go crazy w/that!
I know! I looked at the grapefruit three times and even picked it up and smelled it to make sure it was a grapefruit! What would I ever do with ONE grapefruit?????????
Have you heard of greenling.com they deliver direct local organic to your door just wondering if anybody has used them. I haven't tried the share baskets yet either. It's time.
